Looking into getting a commuter car with prime target being economy.
An S reg 1.0 k11 has caught my eye but I've just read that post facelift models have worse mpg.
From what I've read there were two facelift changes - one in 98 when power steering was introduced and another (k11c) when the 1.0 offered better bhp.
So which facelift caused the mpg reduction? Is an S reg 1.0 still likely to see 40+ mpg?
