I feel a weight has been lifted! (Y)

After all the years of waiting and waiting and waiting (that's lots of 7 day auctions) all the times when I bought something for it either to be lost in the post, taking anything up to 30 days to arrive or it being the wrong Part-colour-size-damaged beyond all recognition and not to mention the Ebay and Paypal charges which seem to go on forever...I'm FREEEEE!!!

Yep, I feel good! :D

It won't be long before I close my account; I owe them £115, but it failed to come out of my PayPal ages ago. They want the money now, but I am not in a good position to hand over £115. This sucks.

good for you. but you should check the ratings and ask questions before you buy. bit like cancelling a monthly direct debit.

thats weird, i have 150 feedback, never had a neg or a neutral, and everything i have bought has turned up, i have never really had a problem with ebay...

and i am gonna put all the K10 stuff on ebay now so maybe you just lost out lol

It's probably more to do with luck that anything turns up, I didn't have much so my patience ran out instead

I've found the better the deal the less likely it is to turn up.

I paid for a dell axim x5 pda 2 weeks ago with gps, in car adapters, and tomtom software. I bought the wifi expansion card. Seller writes back, i was away working, do you want me to send the item or refund. I reply send the item & 6 days later still no reply or item. I won the auction for £27 inc postage which is really cheap imho. So it seems the guy doesn't want to sell for the auction price :/ g1t

i allways check feedback and where possible buy from companys rather than private selers i have still had trouble doing it this way in fact i`m currently waiting for a set of alloys to be delivered that i payed for on the 1st may an this is from a national company with ten stores nationwide and at the moment any of my messages get replys from the MD of the company

so feedback`s not everything an it`s not always the sellers fault most the time i`d say yes but not always

meh, i won a double din all singing all dancing headunit with DVD touchscreen etc, for £90 brand new, no problems at all. got a transflash reader from hong kong for 70p and it still works even after i acidently took a bath with it lol,

point is that the worst that can happen is you get your money back, paypal is there to back you up, and i know ebay ROB you of all your cash with their charges but you do get some bargins,

for example i would NEVER shop at halfords again because you can get everything for a 10th of the price on ebay.

think i might close my ebay account now.

with this new search they have, i cant find anything decent anymore and now they've taken the 'opt out' away nooooooo :(
