Expecting everyone to be tuning in for the big mans testimonial, theyre gonna be doing a montage thing before hand where all the fans of east, south and sir john stand hold up pieces of card. Gonna be immense
 
I'll be there. Apparently there's 52,000 cardboard cutouts been printed with a pic of Shearers face on. One on every seat for us to wear. :laugh: Looking forward to it now,should be a great night!
 
i hate NUFC, lol natrally because im a makem, glad our boys put him down before the end of the season! hate alan sherar! kevin ball's, "hardness" is rubbing of onto the rest of the lads!

kind of like what i said then lol! Its not 52,000 its only three stands thats doing it, gonna be loads of legends too, i sold my ticket coz me mate who was coming couldnt get the night off work. The montage is at 7:40, just as Shearer walks out the tunnel

and you might take pleasure from the fact that shearer hurt himsel in the mackem game but we take pleasure in scoring 7 past your keeper this season ha ha ha andhe fact yous broke your own worst ever record and the fact yous got relegated and the fact your just naff anyway lol

i, the masks are just searer masks, like literally a mask of his face n theyre for everyone, thats summit to do with metro radio, the montage is gonna be amazing like, cant help with the video thing like

look in the echo or any tv guide, the number after the program discription, that is the videoplus number.

Tried,but its only the main channels i can find with the numbers,thanks. :down:
 
I'm away at 6.30 so i'll just have to set the video to record when i leave. I know its a bit early but by the time i get there,find a space walk up to the ground,time will be getting on,plus i want to hang around outside before kick-off for the atmosphere. o_O
 
your going and recording it? you must love the mags, but your from durham, so technicly you should suport safc, TRAITOR! lol nah man kiddin mate!
 
y play celtic! surly theres a half desent team they could play.............. mind u wouldnt be nice 2 loose the game mabeys thats y!

Celtic always seem to play in these sort of games. They will probably take it seriously and win whilst the others will just be having a laugh. I expect Shearers team to lose but its not about that tonight,just hope its a fun game. :laugh:
 
first half is gonna be the proper nufc team i think with maybe the exception of les ferdinand lol. You say play a proper team but Celtic pure demolished rangers this season so what does that make them ha ha, im curious to see weather roy keane will play in what pobabaly will be his last match + him and shearer hate each other
 
i went to brian mclairs testimonial when cantona used to play for man u!! they played celtic at old trafford and lost 2-1 :D
celtic usaully win these games and show how good there 2nd team is too :p

people say scottish league is 2 team..but its better than one team (chelsea) and before the money came to them it was allways arsenal or man u.....dont put scottish football down
 
Rik, look at the amount of teams that have won the SPL over the past 20 years or so, majority celtic and rangers, at EPl its much more contested...

thats besides the point, what a fitting tribute to an absoloute legend
 
i dont think it is...it was a one horse race this season..from 2nd place down was a good battle.
 
Excellent night! Was the best atmosphere ever!!! :love: Unfortunatley the video didn't record prperly,got sound but no picture,just a black screen saying itv4 programmes begin at 6! :doh:
