There are 2 type of connections for the gauges.

The difference is the speedo cable. If you have a analog one you need a analog one with a rev counter. If you have the digital one you need a digital one with rev counter. It depends on the year but its best to just check the backside. As long as the type is the same it will work. The wiring is the same.
For the rev wiring being there it depends. If youre lucky its there. If youre not then you have to pull the wire from the dizzy or ecu. If you do a search here you'll find info about this.
