i need help with my micra (and hello )

im charlotte and i've just bought a nissan micra. have wanted one for years and bought the 1994 model nissan micra super s 1.3. a week after i had it it cut out on a roundabout. seems to do this everytime iv been driving for about half an hour. the battery light and i think an RBS light comes on when it happens but the electrics dont do. the engine just cuts and wont restart until the car has cooled down. any ideas???

what sort of temp does the guage show at this point when it cuts out?

^ I would assume it would show the normal temperature, as she didn't say otherwise. After 30 mins' of driving, the vehicle should be all warmed up.
