how many inch is s14 maf ?

Fair enough though maf before tb is more commonplace. Especially if including an outsourced part :) could be worse could stick it on the turbo

yea that's right, I seen s14 maf after the throttle body and inbeween the turbo fitted, or some do it after the turbo it's maf fitted on air filter ? So there is two types of way
There's only one. Post turbo
You cant have it pre turbo. Or it'll lean out big time. The maf is there to detect air flow into the engine. So a boost charge is different to the natural draw of the turbo.
If the cg maf is built into the tb and is post tb then fair enough but as an outsourced maf is required it'll have to go between the tb and turbo... if there's an intercooler then it goes after this and before the tb. Positioning of the maf directly affects fueling :)

Correct but your wording it backwards. When talking about air inlets you start with furthest away first and manifold last.
Air filter > turbo > I/C > maf > tb > manifold

i ran "draw through" on mine originally, filter>maf>tubby>t/b but it overfuelled bad on lift tho, the compressor surge backflowed through the maf and it thought i had opened the throttle again and flooded/stalled
blowthrough ftw :)

Which ways better frank what maf did u use

So frank, why is the s13/14 turbos have draw through and do not suffer the same lift off issue?

Frank I meant if I wana keep my k11 maf and have a s14 maf like polly has
i would just stick with the stock maf abdul, you,re not gonna max it out with the stock exhaust system fitted anyway, you can easily mount a bigger maf in the chargepipe at a later date (if needed) :)
