Is it me or is it REALLY cheap especially with a screen?
Have been after a DivX player and a home one on Mapling is about £50 anyway!

It is cheap, but like with anything you get what you pay for. Then again you can't really go wrong for that price, even just for the screen alone if its pretty decent.

prices on TFT screens are plumeting all over the place.

EG 17" TFT's are now only £109 - well trade anyway.

i know portable gear is dropping like a lead weight!

Maplin are pretty good for quality and price from past experience.

This is how I see it, a dvd player is a dvd player, if you want fancy features you pay more, this does DivX which is how I play my movies to save the DVD, quality will be reduced to fit several on one DVD, as it's in the car and only 7" you can't expect home cinema quality.

So all round good

(Basically I'm trying to get opinions as I really want a DivX player for house and car, I already use a portable DVD player between house and car!)

MP4 is divx - i know we're looking at getting some portable Divx players in, as currently we only have dvd's.
