Its easy to remove. But you need a stock manifold fitted like frank said.

As you can see its a whole unit that needs to be removed. And there are some longer belts. So you need a stock manifold and new belts. If its a daily its quite a hastle. If you could just park it in a garage for  a few weeks it would be alot easier. Then you can just remove the supercharger itself and get it checked out. There are alot of companies that can check them out if you bring them the supercharger itself. (MOst dont have a big garage to store a car for a while)
