ive changed suburu fuel filters and forget to depressurize it, went all over my face and hair lol but i learnt to just remove fuel filler cap to depressurize the system before changing fuel filter and then when you change the filter and tightened the clips, just turn ignition on and let the fuel pump pressurize the system
