Engine mounts

Are the K11 mount on the chassis nearly the same as the K10 ones. As i need to know as i'm putting a ET15T into my K11

They are nearly the same yes, IIRC the lower and the gearbox mounts are different (this may be totally wrong however)

What does it matter? The E-series engine mounts are in differant places to the MA mounts aren't they? And no K10 and K11 engine mounts are in 'similar' places but not the same IIRC.

It is all a bit hazy with me, but i sweear that Umar said he used some of the original mounts in his conversions.

Ages ago I had a K10 next to mine to see if the CG engine would fit easily and it was fairly close, but bearing in mind this was just a quick compare so didn't measure owt.

because not all of us faff about with 20year old engine swaps everyday. PM the people mentioned above, Umar etc... they'll tell you exactly whats needed.

From wot i know the k10s and k11s mounts r NOT in the same place.

Craig, its been a long time. tbh i can't remember saying that.

I have customised my mountings for my engine to fit and you'll have to do the same Robert!
