Re. Speeding
It's very easy to do, especially when the AVERAGE speed of vehicles on the road you're travelling on is around 85MPH (as is the case on several motorways I use regularly). You need to get a feel for the speed you're travelling at and have an occasional glance at the speedo just to make sure. If you want to avoid speeding just stay in lane 1 
Bear in mind the 1.0L K11 is capable of ~100MPH in good conditions, the 1.4 can easily go a bit faster than that.
