Black Box

I've noticed a small black unit under the front passenger seat and it's wired as well! If it's not a bomb, could someone please tell me what it is? I've wondered what it could be for a long time and now since I can discuss it in this forum, I might as well find out from you guys. It looks like a car stereo (but it's definitely NOT one!!!) Anyone else's K10 has it?

I believe the unit detects when things such as headlights and stuff are switched on, and sends a signal to adjust the idle tickover to prevent the car from cutting out.

If your unit is black, (thats just a cover), its a bigger unit which is intergrated with the ECC system. Most micras just have a small one with about 10 wires going into it.

it will be the controller unit for your carb
