I realise this is an old thread, but mum's car is having the same issues. She's currently using the over ride button... Any ideas where I can buy a used gear selector unit? No where seems to have one, and of course, nissan no longer supply a new part... 2008, 1.4 auto I'll try the microswitch...

Good morning all Just bought an 08 plate micra auto for my elderly mother. Starts and runs fine, she likes it, apart from an intermittent electrical issue... At times, everything works fine. Then, for no apparent reason.... The nearside indicators react with the nearside brake lights...
