    Yes, but this is legal if the MOT is pre-arranged. Although driving without the road tax isn't legal, you would be let off if it was going to a pre-booked MOT.

    If it's not the bulb, check the under the bonnet fuse box as corrosion may have taken over.

    clear side repeaters can be bought from Nissan, the later shape Micra shares it's side repeaters with the Almera.

    overtime light do get stained and burnt with the light that is emitted, to really get them clean you need to remove them from the car then bake them in the oven until the glue goes soft. Once you take the light apart give them a good clean with soap and water then put back together...

    Remember that cut springs are a grey area within the law, insurers may not cover your car if the springs are cut. Although the car may pass a MOT it would fail a VOSA road side check
