Heavy steering and reluctant to return re-centre steering wheel

Yes great cars for driving, just replaced my inner track rod ends, as I have replaced the subframe bushes and stabaliser rubbers and changed the down links. as its way easier to do this when subframe is lowered. Micra diesels are heavier on the steering than the petrol versions as it the weight...

    Micra C roof creak

As with all things that move and exposed to the elements, creaking usually means lack of lubrication in the joints and moving parts, start by closing the roof and lubricating the hinges that support the roof frame, then open the roof and do the same, carry out this untill the creaking stops...

    Micra K12 1.4 and 1.6 160SR shocks...?

Unfortunatly, Shocks tend to have model specific brackets welded to the damper tube for the drop links and flexible brake hoses. the rear shocks are K12 specific because of the design of the boot area. other areas like brakes front subframe bushes etc can be harvested from other makes of cars...

    Micra K12 1.4 and 1.6 160SR shocks...?

I get this from a lot of retailers saying parts I have ordered will not fit, but they tend not to cross check their data base as most of my parts are from Renault stock, Micra parts (same products) are 3x the cost!

Few pics of a new to me 25th anniversary model

Try cleaning them, but looking at your headlights they are the modified shape around the side lights, which are more stream lined than the bubble type of earlier headlights. also please check under the right headlight, you can look underneath the headlight without removing it to see if you have...

Few pics of a new to me 25th anniversary model

You can use "T cut" on the headlight lenses to clean them up, but I changed mine for new valio (good deal) as they are black headlights and are great now. sunlight tends to break down the lens over time, but the t cut will clean up for the MOT.:)

    K12 drivers side engine mount.

Interesting subject, the whole language around near side far side have been universally remapped to help left and right side vehicles discover the correct parts. I personally use continental purchases with Renault or dacia parts which tend to be cheaper and provide for a larger supply. The...

Heavy steering and reluctant to return re-centre steering wheel

Great, micra's are fun to drive and great on fuel, if you run some Archoil AR6900-D Max in the tank it will clean out the gunk in the fuel system and give you improved engine performance and extra MPG.:)

Heavy steering and reluctant to return re-centre steering wheel

I have a list of parts on here somewere, I tend to get most of my spares using Renault part codes as lots of the k12 diesels use same parts in many areas and sometimes are cheaper to source. I had same problem with my Diesel, Its the weight of the Engine which is heavier than the petrol version...

    Rear hub bearing separated.....

You need these replacing ASAP, apart from the state of what's left of the bearing the fact that it has split, will not only cause damage to the axle shaft and also the lack of grease and bearing seals will mean that any grease or fragments of bearing will get onto the brake shoe material and...

    No Start (sometimes).

You didn't say what fuel your car runs on? my Micra is diesel, however my two suzuki's which do run on petrol have started doing the same, ok if you start them and then set off and come to a juntion and they cut out, my cars run perfect so it is without doubt the crap petrol that is been passed...
