Washing advice car wash or by hand and scratching issues?

If you are not able to wash the car by hand yourself, I would look for a hand car wash, where you are in control when they clean it, rather than a machine cycle that can go wrong, I had a bad experience in a car some years ago and wing mirrors got ripped off so I stay clear of them now and my...

    Oil light flickering

Have a look at the oil filter sometimes there is manufacturing issues with odd batches clogging, for what they cost to replace it's a problem less in narrowing down the issue.;)

Newbie, just bought 2005 micra with only 6,500 miles on the clock

With such low mileage over the years, I would take care to not to overstress the engine at first, and would use a petrol additive to clean out the fuel system and engine/injectors, also a few oil changes close together will help. :) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303924111753

    Any advice on removing this?

I use a variable speed Andle Grinder with a high speed knotted wire brush wheel fitted to remove any unused or excess filler, you will need a mask and goggles for protection, If it is not causing any problems then put some steel Auto paint to cover over the filler.

K12 won’t start after battery charges

Try checking all the fuses, and have the ECU inspected, but the main point I will advice is to get a battery solar trickle charger put in the dashboard for periods of inactivity, I made my own but you can get them from Halfords or e-bay I recommend at least 10-15 Watts as there is a 30%...

    Bodywork repair advice?

I would recommend cleaning up gently and drying the area with an Hair dryer before putting some rubberised underseal paint on the effected areas, I have used this for years and helps to dampen down drumming inside the car and stops the water from creeping into the car through the seams...

Rear red right light not working, works only during braking . Changed the pulb, nothing . What's wrong?

You will need to check ALL the earth straps on the loom that are bolted to the chassis, that is a typical sign.

Rear red right light not working, works only during braking . Changed the pulb, nothing . What's wrong?

Check the earth contacts and the the contacts of the bulb holder, swap bulb again as may be defective, I have encounterd this with mass produced bulbs, but hey cheap enough compared to the modern LED powered cars.

Without the year of construction is it a guess, however a quick search has brought this part up. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/133936006414 I had similar problems with my centre pipe (as rare now as rocking horse manure) 2 weeks of seaching and found some old stock, it appears that the rarer the...

Best repair for tear in rubber weatherstripping?

I use new weather strips on my suzuki's and Micra, when they fail better to renew, It may require you to measure the total length and warm the product up prior to fitting. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144253596167

    1.5dci clutch judder

The Renault/Nissan 1.5 Diesel unit is very robust and does not require a lot a clutch slip to set off, therefore the chances of a clutch problem at your mileage is slim, I checked mine when rebuilding my engine in summer and it was in great shape for a 60K engine, with regards to condensation...

    Acceleration Problem After Long Journey

sounds like fuel supply, look for any fault codes and then check the fuel filter and fuel lines. engine appears to run fine until you require more fuel than is reaching the cylinders to burn. first rule is always check the simple things first before digging further.

    K12 has weak acceleration

I think the U1000 fault code may be the most important, you will need an advanced level scanner to communicate with the system control units by doing a system call to determine which of the sensors are communicating and which ones are not, this will help to determine which sensors are playing up...
