    Skinners Sprint Micra

Kpa is the vacuum in the runners which equates to load, the smaller the number the higher the vacuum (load) 100kpa is atmospheric pressure so would be WOT.

With a set of ITB's you will probably never get bellow 20kpa or possibly 30kpa (depending on size) mine idles at 54kpa I'd start your table at 20kpa, this would then give you a more usable table.

    Stolen and then burnt out

I ditched the servo, its not needed on a mini at all. To me it just adds weight and takes up valuable engine bay space

    Micra - Mini

Can't tell you models etc but I found a suitable mechanical drive that worked in the place of the speed sensor.

    Micra - Mini

This is why I bangged on about just using the 1.3 g/box on other forums, they fit with no problem and offer better FD options. What frame have you got? Allspeed made a frame for the 1.0 but after some criticism now offer a frame suitable for the 1.3 box.

The corsa pistons use the same size pin so are a straight swap :-) 3mm block skim ( should be done with a rebore anyway) to up the cr a bit and away you go.

Porks bike carbs and boost project

I went down the high compression corsa piston route thanks to advice from frank and I could not be happier with it ! Its now 1330cc if I remember correctly but obviously you have the cost of a re-bore, the pistons are cheap though :-)

what did you do to your micra today ?

One thing to consider with the bike carbs is the much lower inlet vacumme which might effect the efficiency of the servo.

I run the bike injectors (240cc I believe), just blocked off the hole for Micra jobbies.

Yep, engine set to tdc then the missing tooth and sensor can go where you like as long as they are 90 apart.... Or as pork said some ecus can run at various degrees as long as you set it in the software.

Yep doesn't matter as long its 90 before the sensor

So the same as mine then :p although I've gone back to steel front etc the fit of the GRP bits was terrible and not suitable for a daily driver. No bulkhead box required :-)

No need for a flip front but it does make life easier. Allspeed make subframes now so its a much simpler bolt in job .

what did you do to your micra today ?

Yep, I went for the tps&map combination as to fit a maf to ITB's means a sealed airbox with a single inlet which partly defeats the point of ITB's

what did you do to your micra today ?

I use gsxr 750 ITB's A Stand alone ecu is a much better option. I use megasquirt, which has an ITB load option. Map is OK but not ideal for ITB's as after 20-30% throttle there is no "load". Tps is also OK but you lose some economy/drivability when driving around as normal. The ITB load...
