Interested in the filter, if it makes a diff in the 1.2 (thats what ya got?) then in the 1.6 it should be even better :)

    Spoke too soon!

Well, apparently it's now fixed. They are testing over the weekend and all being well, I collect it monday. Suffice to say, I shall be checking it with a fine tooth comb!

    Spoke too soon!

Car is still there, still no sign of it being fixed :( Spoke to Nissan Customer Service, just to try and get the compensation wheels in motion. So far it looks like some kind of fault within part of the wiring loom :( as it keeps blowing fuses in various places.

    Spoke too soon!

Fordy, it's not so much the dealer at fault, it's the car. They've done "almost" as much as they can do I guess, but to have the same fault occur within a week (6weeks into ownership) is not good.

    Spoke too soon!

If it happens again, they can keep it! Seriously, 3 strikes. It's on it's 2nd one now.

I drove it for a day and half (200 miles) and then went to start it this morning and it was no go. Got a 1.2 S now :(

    Spoke too soon!

That's right, I'm sat at home waiting for another RAC truck to come and take my car to the dealership!! Same fault as last time, won't start. This time I'm gonna recommend they change the ecu like they should have done last time!

It was too good to last!

I got it back yesterday... It was a wiring fauly apparently. Running fine now :)

It was too good to last!

Garage reckons it is an ECU failure. Will be testing another ecu tomorrow and should know more then.

It was too good to last!

Kristian, I would normally agree, but it was the fact it drove 250metres fine then died that causes me to think it's not the immob. If it was an immobiliser problem, then surely it would have not started when it did. I also thought that once the engine is running the immobisliser is deactivated.

It was too good to last!

6 weeks old, 2540 miles on the clock and she broke down :( My 160sr was taken by lowloader to the dealership yesterday. She started fine, drove 250metres then died and I coasted to a halt by the side of the road. I called the RAC, they came out but they didn't have ANY K12's listed on...

    Space saver spare wheels

A 17" SPACE SAVER defeats the object doesn't it? ie the whole idea of space savers is that they take up less room than a normal wheel. How different is the rolling radius of your alloys and the original space saver?

    160SR.First Month

They aren't spotlights, they are fog lights, so probably shouldn't be used that often anyway!! I've now done 2000 miles in my 160sr in just under a month (reg'd 14th Sept). I'm loving the Heated seats, they work well, just what ya need as the winter draws in.

160SR gets the thumbs up from EVO mag

    Help!

I'm guessing the immobiliser doesn't disengage. Does the engine turn over?
