I'd have thought it would be easier, cheaper and more reliable to put the 1.3 in with a couple of bolt-ons. I guess the performance is about the same too atm. Seemed a good place to start, only had it up and running for an hour, and my air fuel ratio gauge picked the worst time to stop working lol so i'm playing it safe:) and 2psi is surprisingly good, I'd be happy to stick with how it is atm

Yes Joe, I'll have to update my blog, it's going well so far, t2 turbo set at about 2psi at 4krpm. So it's off boost at cruise but drop a gear and it picks up pretty well. Got a lot of refining to do before it becomes a daily again though.

RRG12 at Prescott Hill Climb, Gotherington, Cheltenham. There's two cylindrical spacers about 40mm long that bolts the fuel rail to the intake mani, I was going to get the whole thing from the breakers but if you have these that could be good, as I already have the fuelrail and injectors.

Oh aye, not as simple as it looks either when the engines in. Just the exhaust to complete and fit boost pipe and vacuum hoses. Oh and I've bought breakdown cover ready:rolleyes:

I may be interested in the cga inlet mani, do you have those fuel rail spacer/stand offs with it? And will you be going to the retro rides gathering on sunday?

Nearly there :) Swapping sumps was a pig of job though so it's not going to be running 'till tomorrow afternoon now, and then it's a 250mile round trip to RRG12 sunday morning :O

There's the GA airbox ontop of the throttle body, connected to that is a 2.5"o/d short 90* bend, then a 2" i/d 45* bend which I've replaced with a bit of flexi hose, then a bit of staight pipe to connect to a 2" to 3" 90* bend. I had GA injectors (198cc iirc) in my 1 litre, but took them out as they kept overfuelling when setting off from stationary, bog down and would occasionally stall. So I'm back to stock injectors but I've fitted a cheap adjustable fpr and upped the pressure a tad, runs similar to the GA injectors...

There's some drilled/dimpled/grooved ones on ebay for £50 new here. And MPH sells some uprated pads by Mintex which seem to be recommended by people who use them, around £60 iirc.

I was looking around £30 for a cheap pair, but want to get a quote from tyre fitters first, I guess you'd want more for some nearly new maxxims though. I don't think I can buy any right now anyway, so I'll have to get back to you.

Ok, thank you Karl. How much would you take for the tyres posted? A close guess will do for now just for some comparison. And how many is it you have?
