Hey Everyone, When I turn my sidelights (1.5w single LED type) on in the 93' Super S, the headlamp bulbs (Bosch Plus 90 type) illuminate slightly at the tips. Has anyone else experienced this? It didn't happen in the 97' shape I used to own, I am worried there may be a short somewhere...

Saw a Super S being driven into the local scrappies today :( Wasn't in amazing condition, but certainly not worth scrapping! The guy wanted £140 minus the wheels; with 97,000 miles on the clock and in good running order. Would have probably taken it if it wasn't for lack of space and money...

Thanks guys, I'm planning on keeping the Lenso's but I am considering getting some different wheels for the Winter. I got a spare set of 15" alloys with 195s on them when I bought the car but I fancy sticking some Rota's on for the Winter instead. Either Rota Grids with 195 Proxes or Rota Grid...

Alternatively I just found out that there is a Jap School Club Meet at the Ace Cafe on the 28th (6pm) which is just down the road from me.. It gets pretty lively down there (youtube Ace Cafe if you haven't hear of it already). If you feel like coming down let me know and we could always meet...

Ahh okay, I think I am beginning to understand. Does that mean that ET38 Rota's will poke slightly more than the ET40 Lenso's? Or am I still on the wrong track :oops:

I was thinking of getting some Rota Grid-V's ET20 7J but was worried that they won't fit unless I roll the arches.. I'm pretty happy with the Lenso's at the moment though and you don't see many Micra's on them.. How does offset work then? I have tried researching and I understand the different...

Ahh sorry I should have made it clear, the 3.0 V6 is a Citroen C5 with a few mods (so 230bhp) so the XJR would have 210bhp more lol (440bhp - as he was looking at a paramount modded one) That's like having eight K11 1.0's under the hood :p

I agree, having an engine which is underpowered for motorway driving (such as the 1.0 in the K11) also doesn't do your fuel economy any good (unless you are willing to drive at 50-60mph for the whole journey). My 1.3 is far more economical on long trips than my old 1.0, I am also starting to...

Well the springs are Spax 35mm ones as far as I can tell, but I reckon somewhere along the line they have been chopped to drop it by 50/60mm overall...
