Hi guys/gals. I recently bought a 1995 micra 1.3 lx. Anyways the fuel / boot release doesn't work so I have to use pring it open every time I fuel up which is annoying because when I close it, it sticks out a little. I think the cable has snapped or something but I am no expert on these things...

Hey frank. I would rather bring my micra to you and let you have a look at it and fix it for me, because your like the king on here when it comes to fixing micras. I only live in stoke on trent so it will only cost me a tenner in fuel. Ryan.

Thanks for your advice mate, I ain't really good at mechanics but I wouldn't find it hard to spray abit of white spray grease on the gear linkage to see if that improves it a little.

Just to note, I can change the gears ok, but there just abit stiff and not aligned properly.

I'm gonna buy a new cross member and my mechanic just said he'll fit it me for £50. I've seen a new cross member on ebay for £20 but it aint an original. Do you think that will be any good? it looks ok, its just not an original from nissan. Let me know what you think. Thanks. Ryan.
