Hey up mate. I am thinking fitting new ceramic bulb connectors and replacing my standard bulbs with 100w xenon bulbs. Do you think they will be ok.

Think I'll just get some 55watt ones then. Bit gutted that I bought these 100watts now because there just gonna sit around gathering dust and theres no point selling them as they were only a fiver on ebay. Its not big loss, just more of an annoyance at myself!

So what would happen if I got the ceramic ones then? because I'm not an expert at electrics but I can do basic wiring like this.

So am I ok just getting normal connectors then because I'm gonna be using 100watt xenon bulbs :)

Also my high beam doesn't work, but it lights up on the dash. Do you think its the burnt connector?

I was gonna do that mate but my wires are yellow / red / blue and the wires on the new connector are white / blue / black. ??????

Thanks guys. I haven't had a look yet, I've just bent the metal connector ever so slightly so that when I close it, it doesn't stick out at all. I don't mind using an old key to pring it open now, so I'm just going to leave it the way it is. But thanks for all your help and advice guys.

Forgot to mention the mileage! Its done over 111000 which you will all know is nothing on these bullet proof micra's. Here's a you tube link to a 1.0 k11 that has done over 300000 and is still going strong!
