I just wanted to ask what people think of the swift GTI, reason being as my girlfriend wants a car and one of my friends is selling a M reg swift GTI, 71k full service history completely standard, I drove it and it seems quite good for a 1.3, what are your thoughts?

I think i still have a ma10 cam in my garage, shorter duration with higher lift than the ma12 i believe but would make no difference if it was re-profiled.

use a local motor factor, there dirt cheap for k10's. look in the yellow pages

nice looking cars and 182bhp aint gonna be slow, stick on a set of throttle bodies and you'll be over taking impreza's. IMO nissan should have made the micra a hot hatch, but nah i'd rather a 2.1 16v zvh series 2 rs turbo if i had the money, not something thats gonna lose value over time
