Well from what was said the battery was taken out at some point,would that maybe cause a problem with the immobiliser? As can't get anything from it when turning the key

Hi folks not sure if it's the right section or not but I went to look at a project for myself last night and upon arrival I found out it wasn't starting,from what the current owners father said the batteries fully charged,they thought it might be key batteries but nope,anyone had this problem...

A shame to wreck such good seats especially when they can be so expensive to buy,my dads got similar ones in his mk3 golf gti he's just bought and even with cigarette burns and needing a good clean there £200 seats which is mad haha. Cheers again for the reply :D

Woohoo!!! Thanks for the welcome,should hopefully be getting my hands on a k11 by September and then the fun stuff can begin like collecting bits for a turbo conversion :D

I'd hope not I might have to run away if you's are haha :p Been on the Facebook page a couple of times and everyone certainly seems to be up for a laugh and above all everyone try's to help each other as much as they can and that's something I feel a few forums/pages lack so I'm mega happy here :D
