Fed up with the rattle, trying to remove it but there's a wire goes down into a plug on top of the exhaust, can I take this out in order to remove the heat shield, if so how do I remove it. Thanks

My shiny new PI springs arrived last night. Gonna fit them at the weekend, keeping it on the 14" steels as I had it on 15x6.5 alloys for a few days but didn't like it at all although it did look very nice. If you aren't fussed about going too low then 35 springs will do the job however I havnt...

Whole car respray will prob cost more than the cars worth, Got the boot resprayed on mine when i first got it and that cost me 100 quid and he didnt even do the whole boot plus its not a great finish, that was before i really knew anything though so didnt care at the time Would definitely do...

Its gonna happen haha, wasnt gonna spend any money on mine originally, but once you start you just want to keep going ;) Good thing is though that you can make it look a lot better for pennies, its only once you start going for big performance that it gets expensive

lowering springs so think theres a bit extra on them, will see if i can borrow some compressors from somewhere just to be safe 30 quid in halfords is a bit of a rip

Was thinking of just using standard clamps with a bar across the spring or something And i wont need compressors to get the new spring on?

How long did it take you to lower it? and did you need spring compressors for the front? also have much bother getting nuts and bolts etc out? Gonna attempt mine this weekend, will be a first so not sure how it will go o_O

I am going to attempt to lower my car this weekend with 35mm lowering springs on standard shocks. Phoned a local garage and they said 90 quid to fit them, WHAT!? So do i need spring compressors? And its just couple of bolts on the rears and swap springs, then remove shock from front and...

Got some mudflaps sorted from skinner. Got some 35mm lowering springs on the way, 100 quid off ebay. I had some nice alloys for like 2 days but they were f*cked and wouldnt balance so had to sell em on again. Going to leave it on the steels for the moment, starting to like the way they look...

can get these cassette tapes with wires that plug into your phone or whatever like an aux lead, dirt cheap and do a good job if you dont wanna get a new radio system
