Busy day on the Micra, had to get new front struts as we bent one last time out. Had to call on Matt Humphris's help, he gave up time this afternoon to find some top mount parts which I needed. Top bloke stopped his planned work to help me out. Should be all set to MOT in a couple of weeks.

Well that went properly! Sorry to see it, what are your next steps? It's horrid when engines go like this, been there this time last year.... Plate diff's always wear out, so rebuilding will always be part of the maintenance plan, the threadlock you use on the diff will need to be special 'oil...

Maybe over kill on a non rally car. I used angle iron on the front faces and then flat iron to make a 'box' around the three faces of the box. Can get some pics at some point if you want. That then is braced to the chassis rails. It is the sump guard mount so is prone to a lot of force and...

Reinforce it before fitting it. I did that to ours, and it has been an ace front sump guard mount. Has taken huge forces over the years on WRGB.

Totally not legal (I work in management employing people), there are legal rights for employees and holidays. Also get a contract signed or they can drop you in a second. They are dodgy....
