Yes it can. If a router uses WPA2 and the laptop doesn't, then it will see the router and try to connect but may fail at the obtaining IP address stage, or will just say limited but no connectivity as it hasn't managed to negotiate the connection correctly.

You might have to travel then. Won't be as many around as there used to, probably due to old age and the scrappage scheme.

It's likely to be this. The new router will probably be using WPA2 which your laptop may not support. A driver update should sort that

You can get gearboxes reconditioned / repaired. I had my K10 one done for about £150 so might be worth doing that instead of trying to find a second hand one, which could also be duff.

Glanza ones do this too. Your meant to use Autosol and a lot of time / patience to clear them up, but sometimes they mist up on the insides so replacing them is the only option.

Right! They DO come with wiring plugs, I somehow didn't see them at the time of posting this up or sticking them on eBay. So should be a piece of cake to fit now :)

I'm afraid not but should use the same gaskets as standard I would imagine? Same engines
