    After being out today in my instructors 65 plate Micra, it has a similar noise, could just be the aux belts and me being so used to diesel LOL Just researching how to remove the MAF sensor to see if I can get it ticking over happily.

    Cheers, appreciate it. Can hear the timing chain when idling, is this a concern? it's going for a full service next Monday I feel it's not had one for a good 20k miles.

    Anyone got any tips to help fix a lumpy idle on my K11 CVT 1.0 1994 Micra? it does not cut out but does seem like it is close. Also smells rich from the exhaust but this is from a cold start. I'm thinking a good service, some new plugs/filters will help it wonders but don't want to throw money...

    Really hoping it's as tidy as it seems, MOT history shows all repairs done, and it looks solid, just unloved. Till it found me :) been out cleaning it today inside and it's coming up nicely.

    I just grabbed my 63kmile 1994 K11, quite happy with it, a little recommissioning and I think it will be a sweet little run round. Also, a chap in Rochdale was selling a lower mileage one but a manual! it's on Autotrader if anyone's interested.

    First car, few questions

    Just bought a car to tinker with while I get my driving lessons+practical out of the way. It's an M Reg 1.0 K11 CVT which will be handy since my GF prefers automatics. I plan to get the Aux belts done as they look old, and am already changing all four tyres after being sitting for months...
