So forgive my ignorance, so it's attach the new TPS to the TB on the car. then with the throttle at 0% touch any of the pins on the TPS and look for 0.5v? I presume if it's out I need to adjust something if so what?

Thanks will help me nail this issue down, so far compressed air and contact cleaner resumes normal operation, but I am pondering how long for.

Never touched this before apart from removing the clean and cleaning it. Is it replaceable with the TB on the car using normal tools or will it need calibrating by a mechanic?

I have finally solved this and for anyone else the solution is this: My k11 is RHD. So standing at the drivers wing, look for a connector on the throttlebody under the air box house facing towards the windscreen, take this out and clean with both WD40 Contact Cleaner and Compressed Air. I did...

Just had it cleaned and the o-ring replaced. Issue returned after 24hours. Ordered a new TB from eBay and plan to strip and rebuild this one on the car currently.

Hi all. My 1994 PreFL starter motor is on it's last legs requiring quite a few turns to actually engage and do it's job. I'm searching eBay for another used unit, but I want to be sure I am looking at the correct part and not one for a facelift version. Anyone able to help?

I tend to drop into DS on any hills, which improves its ability to get up by quite a bit, however, this is a recent change in driving style. Hopefully, be up on a lift later next weeks and i can have a poke around and check for anything major.

So far still no leaks, having tyres fitted soon so planning to look underneath it closely.

Yup mine has done this since i got it, never been an issue even with fluid changes, part of the car now. Auto only license has ensured I have two spare N-CVT's in my kitchen under a plastic blanket, which ain't for sale unless I part with the car. :)

Found out that with my N-CVT I can set off in DS mode which locks the lower ratios helping me get away from the people that floor it when I pull out, then slide into D with a smooth transition to normal drive once up to 40mph. Massive quality of life improvement :)
