    As far as I know they are just for windshield installation. Make sure to seal the hole really well or your scuttle panel will rust.

    According to the service manual: Both black wires: ground Red wire: should go to ECU pin 1, controls the transistor for the coil. Green/white: 12v feed to from ECU relay White: crankshaft position signal to ECU

    A little bit of an update; I was able to give the connector a good ol' wiggle with a pair of screwdrivers and it seems to have shifted my running issues from cold to hot. I suppose that is leading me in the right direction and I have asked a local garage for a quote on replacing the sensor.
