Cheers for the reply, I wouldn't have the first idea about how to approach a scrapyard. Do you just wander round and pick off stuff, or does the owner have a list of the bits he's got? It wouldn't matter that much if they'd been painted. THey're just for a bit of an experiment really.

Grrr. Now even Halfords are telling me that there is no such thing for my 2001 micra. It is 'on my head' apparently, if I want to order and see if it fits. I can't believe this would be such a hassle.

I want to keep the factory shelf intact so that I can put it back in if I sell the car. And, I really don't want it to be too obvious I have speakers in the back. There's no point in me having a sub as I want to keep my boot space so 6x9's it is!

Just a quick question. My JVC Headunit states it has 5V line-outputs. Most of the amps I've been looking for only seem to accept 4V. Is the 5V only reached at the headunit full volume, as in, can I leave it only turned up 3/4 volume and voltage is about 3.75V? Or do I need to find an amp...
