hi guys fitted a second hand cd player about a month ago yesterday noticed my side lights weren't working so checked and was blow fuse, replaced it and lights worked fine then turned on stero and wudnt work with lights on checked wiring seemd ok turned sidelights on smoke pouring from dash so...

it was more the speedo reading being accurate I wanted to know! rather than the accuracy of the rev/tacho.

ive emailed frank so hopefully will here back from him soon if anyone else know pls let me know?

im not to sure what u mean how does the rev range affect the speedo?

ok so long as the clocks are the same mechanically then I think il be ok!?

no jst wonder if they will be calibrated the same as 1.3 ie will they show the correct speed when fitted to a 1.o? I read an old post from 2005 that reconed there be a 5mph difference.so wanted check if this is true before I buy them!

I wonder if u could help I have a 1996 1.0 micra an im wanting to put in 1.3 sr speedo clocks in would this be ok or is the calibration going to be different? ie will the speedo show the correct speed? I read somewhere its different anybody know? thanks

hi guy was gona do a bit welding on sill I know I have to disconnect the battery when mig welding but not sure about the ecu?

yea mine has earth. I jst tapped into the wires on the original connector

is there a reason y the after market cd/radio does it?( ie is its faulty,or jst draws more power than original) as never had a problem with the original Nissan one and that had permant live the same.

the unit has an ignition live and a perment live,(I guess for the memory)what if I replace the perment live wire with ignition one so there two ignition lives goin to it I guess I loose the preset station/memory will that work?

yea that'seems 2 b whats happening the batterys not that old, so why would it do it? is it the radio? or the way ive wired it up? why would it drain the battery???? it does have a constant red flashing bulb wen u take the face off but cant see that being enough to drain it.
