Good idea, not sure whether this has been done on mine, however i'm not sure where the cut and welds have been made, i'll let my guy know and see what he says. Worth a try.

They're cut and welded Ed, nothing is standard any more. Clutch and accelerator cable are modified, driveshafts, fuel lines everything. The shafts aren't angled forward or backward either, but because they are cut and welded they're going to be prone to breaking. Until i can get some new ones...

To be honest when i drove it it put a hell of a lot of power to the floor, even on the 195s. Seen as the time is almost nigh, when the beast returns to the streets with double engine capacity and a shiny turbo, i was wondering. Does anyone know the process for registering it as a 2ltr, i've been told that you can just note the engine capacity on your V5 and take it in to the post...

lol There was water in it but not a cooling system per-se. We barely moved it really. The turbo we're using is the knackered one so if that goes there's no probs, however i was slightly concerned that the engine might cook itself, as i'm sure you a thinking :)

Excellent, did the engine take a while to lube up at all, i know it'd been sitting for a while? Then again i know those engines are pretty much indestructible! Shame it never really got working in mine, would've liked to see how fast the stock DE block would have been.
