    Lowering AGAIN

Not sure if this is good or bad for lowered springs, but the rear bilsteins compress more easily and release more quickly than the kyb shocks. Hope this is a positive thing.

    Lowering AGAIN

I had the kyb shocks fitted when I had the suspension replaced, and eibach pro springs added. They dont work well with the pro springs. I've got a pair of bilstein b8s for the rear, waiting to be fitted. Also have some 14 inch autec wheels, and 185/60/14 tyres on order. If they do the trick...

    Lowering / alloys

Hello, Thanks for the info and picture of your orange konis. After looking into ride comfort, discovered when I put eibach pro springs on (perfect ride height for a micra, looks wise), I should have either had the koni orange rear shocks put in, or the bilstein b8s. Went for the b8s, as...

Selling set of 160sr springs £40.

Common sense says I ought to try going back to stock 160sr springs. I think the eibachs are stiffer. Did lots of reading on wheels, and cant Think eibachs are stiffer, have to admit. I dont want to.lose the ride height they give though. The front is okay with pot holes, it's the rear that's...

Selling set of 160sr springs £40.

Looks very nice. The stance is just like a 160sr. Am not going to sell the 160sr springs in case. The further 2.5cm lowering by the eibachs is perfect. Just we have lots of large pot holes in my city. See you have wheel spacers on the back. Bloody hell, that's a very wide rear wheelbase you...

Selling set of 160sr springs £40.

Yes. My 160sr has only done 36k. But I completely renewed suspension and added eibach pros. Replaced suspension due to age. It handled very well previously, but back end was bumpy/bouncy over bumps/pot holes, so at least shocks needed doing. 160sr has lower springs than a standard micra...

More comfortable ride needed for a k12 160SR required - possible wheel replacement?

That would have looked very nice in white. Mine is red. I was advised by the mechanic who did the suspension not to do the poly bushes. It would be even more uncomfortable. Unusually, I trusted him, and didnt go witn them. Glad I didnt, as bumps are bad enough as they are.

More comfortable ride needed for a k12 160SR required - possible wheel replacement?

Mika was totally right about the pro springs. When its lowered, theres only a small gap, and the stock wheels look larger. I really wish I could keep them. The ride on decent roads is better with them. There arent many cars that can keep up with a 160 going around roundabouts and twisty...

More comfortable ride needed for a k12 160SR required - possible wheel replacement?

Yes, I had ALL suspension parts changed, literally all of it. I am not selecting any old wheel/tyre Am not just chucking on any old wheel/tyre combo. Using calculators that keep same position and circumference. So far, best option, for what I want, is with demon tweaks. Wheel that suits...

More comfortable ride needed for a k12 160SR required - possible wheel replacement?

City of bristol has approx 1/10 of your total countries population, in one tiny area. Roads are constantly being dug up in our cities, and repaired poorly. We have speed limits of 20 mph in some areas. Just as well, you try doing 30 or 40 around town, you get shaken all over the place. Outside...

Will look into widened steel wheels, those are the extreme concave ones?

More comfortable ride needed for a k12 160SR required - possible wheel replacement?

Sorry about your name spelling. Cities in uk have appalling roads. Dug up all over and again and again, for utilities and cable etc. Poor repairs, that sink. Bypasses and motorways are fine, rides like a dream. It's a shame, current stock ones look really good. Ones I'm getting similar look to...

More comfortable ride needed for a k12 160SR required - possible wheel replacement?

Thanks for the info. I drive mostly in bristol and bath, roads are awful, pot holes every where. Motoryway and country roads are fine. Spoke to demon tweaks, they have some msw 185 65 14 msw 77 in graphite grey. £450 for wheels, tyres and fittings to make them fit. Quite close to originals.

More comfortable ride needed for a k12 160SR required - possible wheel replacement?

Hello , I've got a low mileage 2005 160sr. Thanks to Mikka, I went for the eibach pro kit, and had all of the cars suspension parts renewed (literally all of it). Ride height is great, and its better than stock. Sits a little lower, and handles like a dream. Although its not such a bumpy ride...

    K12 recommended head light replacements

That's another one that's decent then. Literally just this minute fitted my black valeos. They look superb. Chrome ones definitely dont suit 160srs. My chrome TYC ones are crap. They look okay, but cheap materials.
