Battery terminals corroded? Lights can work, but not enough current passes to starter!?:rolleyes:

Expectations and assumptions, quite often source of major duck ups...! :rolleyes: ;) Micra of mine does same flickering, below -28°C, after oil has warmed properly flickering goes away... Warmer than -28°C, oil light doesn't flicker! ;)

First, check the oil level?! And viscosity of oil?

Did this flickering started with colder weather? If so your oil is too thick. Have you checked oil level, do you have enough oil in your engine??:rolleyes:

With my bulbs, the big handed mechanic used gently a small crowbar type tool which has a screwdriver handle. to remove the lamp socket. I guess it's called 'nail puller'?! :unsure: I watched him doing the bulb change carefully, to be able to do it myself next time! ;)

Have you checked heat shields under the vehicle, they come loose sometimes...! :unsure:

Sounds like corrosion... Have you cleaned battery terminals & cables and greased them with dielectric grease?
