    Locking Rear Brakes

Saw a car going sideways once going less than 10mph I guess (with snow) and he hit the kerb with both tires. Ended up on the roof lol. Doing one of those courses is loads of fun btw :D

    Damp

Hmm, I used to have problems with damp and a bad running car at times. I changed the distributor to the electronic one. The one without the points. Also put on a rubber O ring just to be sure. (don't forget to also change the coil when changing the dizzy to the electronic one) Haven't had a...

Winter / Summer switch jammed on Winter setting

Dunno if it's possible to just plug the vacuum hose and get one ('new' airpan) with a manual flap thingy. Guess it would be no problem. Just have to check if the autmatic airpan doesn't have more vacuum hoses connected to it or something. The airpan itself is butteasy to change :)

Winter / Summer switch jammed on Winter setting

Just get another one from the scrappies or indeed just don't use that winter thingy at all anymore :) Although there is chance on icing the carb, I stopped using winter setting some years ago and never had a problem with it when driving in freezing conditions. (not much use for winter setting...

    faulty water pump?

While you're at it, why don't you change the thermostat too? Although there is water coming from your waterpump which kinda gives it away, it's never a bad idea to change the thermostat too. They are cheap, easy to change and good for temperature control :) And indeed change the timebelt too...

    Hid

Hmm, I don't really see anything in this topic that people try to dazzle others on purpose. It's all down to how it's set up (surely autoleveling is the safest bet things are ok). I'd rather have a proper setup HID car (with or without auto-level, I dont care) coming my way than a e.g. badly...

    Hid

Well, that's the whole thing isn't it. Nobody is going to have a look at it until something happens. And I guess once the insurance finds out there is something not totally legal with the car they ain't paying. Although that can get quite complicated in some cases. But! That's the...

Eitting K10 Clutch kit ? ( thread also placed on General Discussion Forum )

If you have a bit of common sense, understand the e.g. haynes manual allright and the right tools it ain't that hard to do. It could be a bit hard getting it all off etc, but it's great pactice for the mechanical skills as well :) One important tip though: Take your time while doing it (this...

    k10 turbo-compressor engine?

Yeah you'll be looking in getting a ST engine. But as far as I know those things are very rare and hard to find thus expensive :) And other than that I don't think I've ever seen someone supercharging their micra engine yet (k10). A lot of talk about it even saw some modified inlet manifolds...

SuperS body kit on early model question

Ah yes, I see :) Well, not too sure about a full facelift for the front end though. Guess the facelifted bumper might need some work where the grill fits in then. The idea was not to make a full facelift :D But more like upgrading the current stuff with a few new bits from a SuperS model. If...

SuperS body kit on early model question

Hello there, after a year of absense I finally have some time to work on the micra again :) And questions are here already ofcourse :) I have a k10 from 87 and I can get a full SuperS body kit. My question however is if the bumpers are a direct fit since the SuperS is one of the later models...
