    head gasket leak

It kinda depends on where it's leaking I suppose. In the end it will only get worse over time. I think tightening the head isn't a good solution, and might not help at all. You could try to re-torque it to see if it hasn't loosen up just a little bit over the years (who knows, although I don't...

    K10 tubular manifold.

I guess some might do it. It's 100% sure possible. But the question you should ask yourself is:"Is this more easy than doing it another way?" The answer would be: no. Because why would you make yourself an adapter flange, which is probably harder to make because there are 2 sides which are...

    Oil in Radiator

Sounds lilke headgasket to me, unless someone accidently put oil in the water :) And changing the headgasket is 'medium' on the scale on difficulty I think, but it very much depends on your experience with engines. Think the haynes manual should explain it quite well. And perhaps you should...

    christmas 06

Was great here. First xmas day lots of family stuff and too much eating. Second xmas day it's always my girlfriends birthday so quite some people coming over here and then lots of eating again :D So all in all, lot's of fun (although I personally don't care that much about x-mas) and probably...

Got my car in BANZAI magazine!

oh hehe.. sorry.. well, at least it's in there right? Although their bad they didn't do more research then :/ How did they ever got that information in the first place?

Got my car in BANZAI magazine!

hehe, nice mate! :) Gratz on getting your car in there! And also a cleaning pack, do I see that correctly? :D

    K10 tubular manifold.

Hmm, perhaps someone knows a bit more info about all this, but.. I'm going to make a custom 4-2-1 exhaust manifold from steel. My idea how to do this is: Making a flange (with the gasket as reference), then I'm going to use those 'welding corners' (like this one <- linky) to go down again...

    K10 tubular manifold.

Well, the inlet is made out of aluminium afaik, so don't think that's useable. Anyway, getting yourself a gasket will give a perfect form for the manifold. I'm already using the flange from the inlet manifold (for fitting other carbs). But making my own exhaust manifold flange since that's...

But I don't have a life! This forum is all I've got! :D Sing along! "It's gonna be a lone, lonesome christmas without youuuuu"

    K10 tubular manifold.

You made a new flange for the k10 or cut off the flange from the exhaust manifold? Because the existing exhaust manifold didn't look like good welding material to me, I thought it would splatter all over the place :D Cutting the flange off a k10 manifold would be much more easy when it's good...

What about the normal ignition timing to start with? That's easy and very cheap. Although when you have the money you can try and get another ignition setup, but perhaps that needs some mapping and stuff when you go non-mechanical.

    K10 tubular manifold.

I'm using normal steel now, think it's about 10-15mm thick. If the project works and everything is ok then I'll be concidering doing the same with high grade stainless steel. But steel is cheap, stainless steal is more expensive :D

    K10 tubular manifold.

I think it should be possible to modify a k11 manifold yeah, although it's quite some money to fiddle around with. Need to make yourself an adapter plate for the engine and would need some work too on the exhaust connection I guess. At the moment I'm trying to make an exhaust manifold myself...

Its not taking vacuum for the ignition? But that ain't hard to make at all and should work quite well. You can get those nipple thingies you can screw in when you make a small hole in the manifold. I also think you might get good results with a ma10, not -20% guess it's less than that...

    Amazing police video.. unbelievable..

hehe, what an idiot in that car. Very strange they couldn't break those windows, they need harder sticks next time :) Funny detail was that the policeman on the bike got up again and then the dude in the car was going to reverse again. Watch how fast that police man runs to the right...

    PDA Advice

Well technically that first one mentioned is a pda it just got phone abilities too :) e.g. a smartphone is a completely other device which runs other software (smaller screen, probably slower and smartphone edition of software instead of normal WM5 whatever). Although the differences are fading...

    Heated Mirrors in a K10!

Think it's possible, not even that hard. But if you need to make a hole on the middle then it's not such a big problem too I think. Use that electrical paint (for fixing the back window heating) to re-route the circuit. And ofcourse don't forget to properly seal the connections where the screw...

amazing k10 (goes up hills... fast)

So this was running without a modified exhaust manifold? Because I have something like this almost finished as well, but I'm not putting it on yet because I'm working on making an exhaust manifold myself. But if it runs good without that I guess I can do the carbs first and manifold later :)

some VERY important info about paypal!

Ah yes, the joys of having a temporary account somewhere to where the funds are transferred to immediately (humz..). They could be making quite some cash just on that thing alone I guess.
