fanks for the input, I didnt have much luck with excedy in the mx5, ok for what you pay but i burnt it out in 3 months, probably from doing donuts lol. I would like to upgrade but only see drivetorque brand for uprated which I have never heard of, bit risky with 140 quid for the stage 1

I paid 600 for mine with a bit of termite infestation last year, been driven so gentle over its 95k its still on original clutch and still had the original Nissan exhaust so wasn't too bothered with a bit of welding at the rear, would be different if I needed to pay someone to do the welding tho...

cars become a member of the family here and scrapping the poor thing over a few hours work just seems such a waste. I have happily spent over 2 grand on my micra and will likely spend that again before I’m done and it still puts the bigger smile on my face over any car I’ve owned worth double...

the k13 is considerably higher value than a k11, post me of an add for a k13 micra in good running order for that money and I’ll buy it now lol on the other hand I see the same quote for the k11, bit steep for a few hours labour

could try one of these in the second o2 port especially if it passed emissions as is, darn site cheaper than a cat tricks the sensor in thinking it has a lower reading by taking it out of the exhaust flow, worked for my mx5 but half ppl say it works half say they don’t there are cheaper ones...

Mines a 98 which should have 2, I removed the second with my new system. Correct the cat on the manifold must be doing it’s job even with it being the original from new lol still surprises me it passed tho with no o2 sensor

I got the new one half price so thought why not. I would say the elm 327 should do all you need, it will find codes for things like abs sensors as well as all the engine codes and reset the light, I’m not sure there is much more on a micra to scan anyway lol
