Micra K12 Wheels and Tyres - Experiences from yourself?

With the UKs Third World standard pot hole infested unmaintained roads, standard size steel wheels are more rugged less prone to damage & fit in the spare wheel recess, unlike over size alloys/ tyres. Steady as you go is quicker & cheaper in this case. ;)

K11 can they take E10 petrol?

Have been running my 1998 1300cc K11 ( 66K ) on cheap supermarket E10 since it was available (years) & it appears to run the same as it ever did & starts instantly as always? I never needed to change petrol flexible hoses or adjust the ignition timing from when it was new, & it never pinks...

    Lower RPM after replacing distributor

Quote; “After my original distributor failed on my '97 1L micra I replaced it with a new one, now the car runs great but only revs up to 5k rpm”. What appears to have changed prior to the onset of a misfire when hot, is only the distributer, as per your statements. Therefore it is logical to...

    Lower RPM after replacing distributor

Distributer mechanically controls ignition timing pro-rata variation as per RPM variation on a 1997 early Micra & its position is widely adjustable. Most back street mechanics workshops would have access to a strobe timing lamp & employees who still know how to use it as a basic simple test...
