    Throttle body sensor problem

    The cheapest & simple DIY test is to unplug the MAF sensor & test drive the vehicle. If the driveability significantly improves then the MAF is at fault. It will throw a CEL but be drivable & we used ours for 18 months & even passed an MOT with MAF unplugged Also read the corresponding links...

    What is your evidence for needing to remove & change the existing MAF sensor when it seems to be stuck in position & liable to be damaged in the process? Applying WD & or Plus gas is liable to damage a good working Nissan OEM MAF in order to replace it with an aftermarket MAF of unknown provenance?
