Hi everyone, Ultra rare JDM Genuine Nismo kit, can't be many of these in the country??? I bought this by accident but I quite like it so i'm debating whether to fit it or sell it. If anyone is interested please send me an offer and i'll consider it, if i'm offered more than it's worth to me i'll...
I think you are fitting everything in the correct position but if i remember correctly you will have to wind the spring through one revolution before locating it so that there is tension on it.
I would say it's either an alternator problem, although the battery light should come on. Or a bad earth. Failing that it could be that the battery is very weak and the cold weather has made it worse and it's not taking a charge.
I'll give you guys a shout when they get here, I will be selling them at cost price, I only got them because so many people on here wanted them. I can probably get more but it's rare to find a pair, they are usually sold seperately which adds to the total cost.
Just in case anyone is interested, going cheap, like a budgie.

I've had k11 hubs and brakes on my car for ages, they will bolt straight up, but like sonic said you need longer tie rod ends and the flexi pipe won't fit up like stock. I thought loads of you guys had already done this?
It's what sonic said, get the wheel off and bend the brake sheilds back all the way around.
Speedle what you are describing is the opposite of a bad release bearing it's probably your input shaft bearing making the noise.
I't's locked up at the moment, i'll PM it to you tomorrow. It has only just been registered though so it may not appear on any insurers databases yet. Ring around but try Aplan and tesco on a limited mile policy.
S-racing, it's really a hobby, I can get you anything you want but I don't...
The Ec carb has a fuel cut out solenoid, there is a switch on the clutch pedal to restrict fuel supply when the clutch is depressed. I think you will find that your problems relate to the fuel solenoid attached to the carb.
Skyline R33 GTST 2.5 turbo manual, I have had a few of these things, this one is an absolute animal, loads of mods, anyone seriously interested PM me, 50k miles, '93 L reg, 12 months mot, 6 months tax, fully registered, timing belt changed £5500
Courior, does it pop if you lightly press the clutch under de-acceleration? And is it jery when trying to hold a constant speed with the revs under 3k?
I have put loads of cars through an mot without a reverse light, I never ever had so much as an advisory, I allways thought it wasn't tested??? Any way the problem you have is the reverse switch that bolts to the gearbox, common problem but Nissan only part that costs ££££ so most people never...
You will need the complete exhaust including the non cat manifold, Your best bet would be to gut the standard primary cat and replace the second cat with a straight tube or straight through silencer. The cat manifold is a better design than the standard manifold.
