so first plan of action with the turbo is to adjust it so there is no preload (so it doesnt boost to begin with or possibly only does 2-3psi)
hopefully i am right in thinking that if you adjust the acutors arm by shortenging it you will end up with no boost?
also just to recheck i am right in thinking if on low boost it is ok and i do not have to change any engine internals except possibly the clutch? also do i need to change any of the fueling except for possibly swapping out the injectors?
i plan on keeping the original throttle body now and not...
Got my micra today its a 1.3 CG13 when you turn the key the engine starts but to keep the engine running you have to push the key towards the drivers door window.

i have now come away from fitting the bike carbs whilst the engine is having the carbs fitted, i will more then likely eventually have it running a turbo and swap back to fuel injection!
i am after a nissan micra local to london, doesnt need to have mot or tax doesnt need to be in the best of conditions body wise, engine and all running gear need to be good

thanks for all the info guys! i have come from a mx5 and a vw lupo so quite a variety of types of engine / gearboxs will have to test drive a few more micras
test drove a 1.3 cg13 70,000 nissan micra yesterday and every now and again it had trouble going into gear it might just be my driving but first was the biggest problem it went into gear but it seemed like the gear stick didnt go far enough forward
plan with the throttle bodies is to use samco hoses and jubilee clips, whilst retaining the TPS and connecting this upto a megajolt unit so i can hopefully get rid of all of the micra engine wiring (except sensor etc)
