i think one question answers the other really lol They are a direct swapover from your standard lights and being a direct swapover, the connections, mounts and bulbholders should all be the same... and if the wiring and bulbholders are the sme, your for lights should still be there :D hope this...

my 2004 1.0 K12 has 139,000 miles on it now, change it with 5w40 magnetec every 8,000 and you cant even hear the engine, purrrrrrrrrrrrrfect :D Id say you could double 163k on that car if you wanted to look after it... its clearly already been well looked after service wise or it just wouldnt...

I had a problem identical to this, although mine is only a 2004 1.0 5dr, after several weeks of grey hair pulling and swearing... Look into your spare wheel well in the boot, and the jack should be resting in a little groove on the floor next to the wheel There should be a 'rubber band'...

OK, OK.... offered a job in a Ford/Jag dealer today as a parts apprentice... Apprenticeship rates 190 euro a week. The job is an 80 mile round trip 6 days a week, estimate going to cost 70-80 euro a week in fuel to get there... my current finance on the car is 50 euro a week... lets say...

if the noise increases/decreases in proportion to your speed, its most likely a bearing.... but the tire wear suggests a suspension problem? was the work tire previously on the front, then the car got tracked, and the dodgey tire was moved to the rear? thats the case with my car anyhow...
