Yer i've done that before on the mini! I have a feeling that it's electronic think there is 2 wires going to the dizzy one on the top one on the bottom.

i assume it might have an electric ignition, as the Spark plugs, are resistive, denoted by the R in the NGK code.

Also just checked the fuse box, all fuses are fine...

Not entirely sure, cant remember if I saw any when i took off the Dizzy cap...is there another way of telling...I don't fancy trying to get those screws off in a hurry..

Based on.. Nissan bought designs of the A-series, and many of their engines, including the MA 10 and 12 are based on the A-series, they obviously updated the engine, but the recipe is still there!

They are based on the BMC A-series engine, and they really are indestructable!

Is 10w 40 the recommended oil? i was thinking of putting some 20w50 in to top up? not a good move?

How do you know thats the problem? Could be a Mixture of problems Ignition timing, and Ignition components, one spark plug could be earthing, or a lead could be rubbish, even new leads can be faulty. Its always worth getting a New Dizzy cap, and i dont know if the K10's have Points, and such...

No i didnt see the Reg, but im nearly 100% sure it was a Nissan Logo and Writing. It was parked in Battle, East Sussex on Saturday morning in the Mount Street overflow car park. (if any member wants to claim it). I dont remember a brown interior either, pretty sure it was grey.
