    Unplugging airbag sensors! Eek!!

It never bloody rains does it. So like an idiot, while looking for the radiator temp sensor I inadvertantly unplugged the front airbag sensor (the one that sits atop the slam panel) and although I reconnected it, I now have a flashing airbag light. Is this solely because I unplugged the sensor...

1.2 Petrol, radiator fan temperature sensor

Manual link worked a treat on Windows by the way....cheers for persuading me to have another go!

1.2 Petrol, radiator fan temperature sensor

I had tried that manual before but on an android device and although it said "download starting" ... it didn't... I'll try on my laptop in a minute. Thanks. Interesting feedback on eBay.fr. I hadn't looked there because it isn't really a thing here. They tend to use a free site called...

1.2 Petrol, radiator fan temperature sensor

So I've just had a look there but can't see much so I'll have to take the airbox off. Bit shocked at what the sakts8done to be honest. Airbox clips are in bits and some of the bolt heads all but gone. I can imagine a french garage charging a bloody fortune. Don't spose there's any chance you...

1.2 Petrol, radiator fan temperature sensor

Should have explained....it overheated for the first time at the weekend after a 20 mile drive in 30°+ and turns out the fan wasn't running. I shorted it to the battery and it's fine so has to be either the sensor or the ECU sadly but the sensor should be a cheap swap so I'll try that before the...

1.2 Petrol, radiator fan temperature sensor

That's great, thank you, I'll go out and have a look. I just want to check sensor because to be honest, even with only 37k on the clock, it's barely worth 300 quid because my late father in law probably shouldn't have been driving it the last year or two of his life and the body work has paid...

    Fuel filler pipe

Wow that's bad isn't it. We run my late father in law's 05 plate 1.2 petrol as a utility car (dogs, rubbish etc..!) and it has a rusty filler neck but was a seaside car for much of its life, despite only having 37k miles on it, so I half expected it, along with the rusty slam panel but it seems...

1.2 Petrol, radiator fan temperature sensor

Does anyone know where this little bugger is hiding? It must be behind a bracket or something because I'm blowed if I can find it and I need to swap it out before accepting that it might be the ECU that's stopping the fan from working properly. Any guidance much appreciated.

    Suspension height increase

Absolutely not...if you haven't watched the Netflix series Car Masters you should. If anything her looks are a bit too much of a distraction, she really knows her stuff, especially with engines.

    Suspension height increase

Anyone ever RAISED the K12 suspension a bit? Not looking for much - I live in SWFrance and the Micra is a knockabout/dog car so was thinking of putting some slightly more agggressive tyres on and maybe find an inch or two of additional clearance. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Radiator fan

K12 1.2 petrol..radiator fan not working. Runs fine straight across the battery and fuse looks ok as far as I can see (it's a weird little sod as fuses go) - can anyone advise what else I should be checking and where please? Thanks in advance.

    Speakers that don't....

Recently taken on my late father-in-law's K12 and only one speaker (rear RH) is working. I heard some crackling from the left side when I jacked up the volume but Fade and Balance do nothing. I wondered if this was a common failure on the OEM stereo? I don't want to waste money on an aftermarket...

    K12 decat

Anyone done a proper decat on a K12 please? And I mean one that meets current MoT standards, i.e. cat casing remains in place to pass visibility check but guts are gone. My questions are: 1) Is stripping out the innards a DIY job or does the thing need cutting open and rewelding? 2) Does it...
