    Same size turbos...

I've not had anything ok'd with my mechanic in regards to turbo upgrades yet but I'm thinking either GT2554R or GT2854R. They are the smaller of the GT25 n GT28 series. Look like they should be a suitable match in regards to amount of psi and end results for hp.

Calling all Sellers who Ship Internationally

Hey, I just wanted to get an idea of if there were any members who regularly sell parts etc for K10's that are willing to ship to Australia. K10's were never released over here so I've been relying on fleebay to stockpile things like timing belt kits, water pumps, leads and such. But if...

ST Body Kit - Yahoo Japan

Estimate quote to Australia worked out to be about approx 500 quid. That's by sea so would have up to 3months wait. There's no bids on it so far (4 days left on auction). Not cheap, but not easy to come by either.

    Buying an MA09

Cool. I priced the crane for around $250 (2 Tonne) and a friend told me to avoid supercheap for most of that that stuff. Said he has been burned before with bad quality from them. Yeah I have a decent set of sidchrome spanners and sockets but am thinking of getting a new torque wrench also...one...

    cheapish march st on pistonheads

You would have to be pretty lucky to find an ST that wasnt rough in some way. The only exceptionally clean examples you're likely to find are owned by people who wouldnt sell...anyone who buys one should be prepared to spend time and money after purchase. Mine was a pretty clean example when...

    Buying an MA09

I'm not entirely ready yet...there was a few things I needed to get but car costs blew out unexpectedly due to the fuel tank rotting. Only things I really need to get myself now are a small hoist (have one priced and should have it soon), rest is just small bits like a decent pry bar, some...

    Buying an MA09

Will do! I was thinking I might do something like a bit of a blog of stripping it down and rebuilding etc. Not that it'll be anything overly interesting for the first few months...just cleaning lol. But I'll need a bit of direction from you guys with a few bits with it and am going to look at...

    Crazy March!!

Yeah, most likely I will go for a very similar style to the march turbo. I'm still playing around with it as I have a little while yet before I have to commit to anything.

    Buying an MA09

Found out today that the engine is in the country and is in transit between Melbourne and here!! They over estimated the shipping on it coz they expected it to be heavier so I've saved another $400 on shipping charges! I'm hoping I'll have it within a week. Happy days!

    Crazy March!!

Agreed! And even though I plan to have a three tone paint job at some point, the whole patch work look just comes off looking cheap (ie. black bonnet, blue wings, white bumper ) kind of ironic considering the LV interior lol

    Setup on the st

Wow, thanks for responding Ed. :) I actually do see a benefit to upgrading the s/c. Obviously its not going to be for any big end result in bhp gains but in terms of enhancing the natural design of the car there are gains to be made ie. more boost and less load on the engine in low end and...

    Setup on the st

Antony: Yeah, I've had a look at more modern s/c of similar size and there are a few that could give a little more boost, be better equipped for higher hp and put less load on the engine. I think its a way of developing the engine that has great potential tbh. The stock turbo is capable of...

    Setup on the st

As far as I've seen with mappings of the ST this is the biggest prob. Getting the fueling right in high and low end. A very simple and effective way to overcome this would be to go with one induction system and map the car to that. I wouldnt do that if I were you, man. If you were to do...
