TPS sensor from ebay - any good?

Some very bad advice in this thread... The low idle could be caused by improper base idle/timing. However, fixing the TPS first is a step in the right direction. The TPS is a very important instrument, and should never be disconnected like davyboy suggests. When you disconnect the TPS, it puts...

    my k11 from CG10 TO SR20DE TO SR20DET 4WD K11 ( my micras next episode of its life )

Here's the link to the new 4WD build: http://www.100nxc.net/Forum/index.php?showtopic=30245 Agree with everything you guys said. There is a reason I don't have a thread on my micra here, it would feel as though I'm not adding anything to the table, and just cluttering it up with a repeat of...

    my k11 from CG10 TO SR20DE TO SR20DET 4WD K11 ( my micras next episode of its life )

He switched chassis, B13 platform. Didn't want to be a part of the Micra scene. (totally understandable, not many performance oriented people on here, everyone just wants to slam their micra ;)) His thread continues on the 100NXC forum (registred members only)

Nice upgrade pollyp! That clutch pedal is ready for a beating! :) The sr20 guys make "tranny savers", that helps the clutch pivot point from flexing under hard load

The 370cc purple DET injectors I previously used were also very "clicky" when running. My new STI 513cc injectors doesn't make any noise at all. I don't think the clicking is affecting performance, but I can agree that it was annoying :P

    French turbocharged project

Ok. I would not worry too much about the AFR with the standard ECU. They have been proven to not be so good tuned from the factory, that's why aftermarket ECU's are so much better. Install Nistune ;) Then check the AFR

Have you installed any other injectors/fuel rail? Maybe forgotten to plug in the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator?

    French turbocharged project

What the frick frack diddly drack? Are you running standard ECU with a turbo? No wonder your AFR is too lean... It's supposed to be below 12.0 @ Wot Install a Nistune board before proceeding, or say goodbye to your engine.. EDIT: I saw that you are running N/A still, here are what you...

    E85, anyone else running it?

Interesting! I ditched the MAF, I hate em with a passion :) After going MAP sensor, you will never go back to MAF again. Ofcourse, this means you need a good standalone engine management system.. How much did you gain from the electric turbo? I've seen GT86's gain 10-35hp from a really simple...

    E85, anyone else running it?

Don't know if it helps you, but I ran some logs last week, and saw that my 370cc injectors maxed out at 84% duty cycle @ 7100rpm. Should be right below the 200hp mark for a VE I don't think you gain any power from simply running E85 (N/A). But when you use it on a turbocharged system, things...

In Nismotronic, you can select load source, and select the appropriate MAP, or make custom scalings for your own type of sensor. I'm using a 30$ GM 3bar one from ebay. That will go all the way to 2bar boost! Can't beat that with a MAF setup. Nismotronic daughterboards have a ADC breakout...

Polly, have you thought about converting from MAF to MAP? That way it would be more reliable in a "get me home" situation, since when you run speed density, you can blow all the couplers you want :)

p0171 error and other problems ?

What he said^^ To check Lambda, hold idle over 2000rpm. The quicker it changes between 0V and 1V, the fresher the sensor. MAF shouldn't need to change much. This is for a SR20, but should be about the same One thing I found strange from those pictures were T.P.S = 9%? You sure you didn't...

See, I was also worried about breaking my tuning laptop because of this. Then I found out that Nismotronic gets you a new reactivation license in cases like these. Surely Nistune would be the same(they are almost the same thing lol)?

p0171 error and other problems ?

I had the same problem last month with my granddads -01 1.4l micra. P0171 system too lean. Ordered an ebay MAF for 25£, solved the problem. The Bosch ones are prone to failure, the nonames work great!
