Should I just keep the original friction plate and replace the pressure plate and release bearing?

It's a CG13 (1993) in a mini It was a kit that contained the pressure plate, release bearing and friction plate. Not sure of the brand

Hi guys... Has anyone come across this: Rebuilding my engine and got to the clutch last night. The brand new friction plate (not bought from Nissan) is about 0.5mm thinner than the old plate. As far as I know this clutch has never been replaced and the engine has done 100,000+ miles.... Is it...

Mine only started to open at around 90°C and should start at 82. Also only opened about 6mm ...

I took out the thermostat today because I couldn't see any flow in the radiator neck... could see loads after taking it out. Checked the stat in the kitchen with boiling water and it opens slowly to about 6 mm. ... dodgy thermostat? Oil pressure at idle went from about 70 cold to 45 warm to...

Anyone have any ideas? Engine was running perfectly then sat for a year before being run again...

Hi frank cheers for the quick reply! I did notice a bit of hissing from my radiator cap...temp readings were about 75°C for oil and water though. I'm sure I still have a few air locks in the cooling system though I can't understand the low oil pressure though, and that's what's worrying me :(

Hi there :) Wondering if anyone can help with a few problems I have. I have a cg13de engine that for some reason I decided would be a good idea to stick into a 1970 mini.. Anyway, I took it out today and when the engine was hot, the oil pressure vanished. 0 psi at hot idle, ~25 psi at 3.5k...
