I've got 15x7j rims with 165/50 tyres (33psi F/R). When I tried using my friends GPS speedo I think it was around 60 true speed at 65 indicated speed iirc. I will get a close up video of the dash so you guys can make up your own mind :)

Whilst the part about urine proof covers was probably made with reference to the fact that the Micra has a reputation as a "granny" car... I think it alludes to the fact that the 1.3 Super S is so fast that people riding in it are likely to wet themselves :D

As Skymera said remember to get the NATS related stuff that is coded to the ECU you are getting, iirc there may also be a separate NATS module above the drivers fuse box behind the dash (but this may not apply to you). When I was having trouble with mine I also considered swapping everything...

Hopefully, but more often than not it appears to be the antenna around the ignition barrel that causes the problems. As I said before though the issue may not be NATS related, there are quite a few other possibilities.

Maybe, but I think NATS is only used for ignition, as I used to be able to take the key out of the barrel whilst the engine was running and open the boot :p On a side note, my first micra always used to cut out at lights and refuse to start (just turn over and over) before randomly starting...

Could be NATS kicking in? I had the same problem with my first Micra. Solved it with a Pre-NATS ecu from Ed @ Fusion. This was a last resort however as it is a costly fix. explore all other options first (fuses, wet ecu, fuel supply etc.). If your car is equipped with NATS that is... If it is...

That's what I thought. It looks like the horn push that can be bought to change a non-brand deep dish to a a OMP replica one. Now I am unsure whether to get a 330mm or 350mm, because I don't have PAS?

Does anyone know if the OMP Corsica Wheels being sold on ebay are genuine (these ones) because they are half the price of the same one on DemonTweeks (these ones), and the ones on ebay look slightly different..

Imagine 500bhp in a Micra with 4WD. In fact I can't... it's too awesome! I wouldn't even bother saving up for a skyline if I could have a Micra with that much power :rolleyes:

Do tell :eek: To be fair I have been looking at mainstream garages like Garage-D but most of them are to busy to work on a little old Micra when there's a wealth of Silvia's and Skylines to be worked on. One guy that said he would do it, told me (in a very sincere way), it was a £40,000 job...

Sounds about right (a standard Glanza with around 130bhp can do it in around 7.5). Its a shame I couldn't find anyone willing to convert my K11 to an SR20DET AWD spec from a Pulsar. Wonder what that would have done with a bit of tuning :D

What should a 160-180bhp Micra get 0-60 wise? I can't seem to find this info (even an estimate) anywhere. I think I like Micra's so much because everyone else seems to hate (on) them? Especially owners of Vauxhall Corsa's and Peugeots :p People that don't drive Jap cars :rolleyes:

My friends Glanza had a similar problem to this (but only when startup on cold). He was told that with forged engines it's normal to get pooling when cold as the pistons / rings need to expand to the right diameter which happens at normal operating temp - it then turned out that the rings...

Ahh okay, So presuming my block is in good condition (which I imagine it is considering how well serviced the car has been), it should be okay to get to get the engine bored and new piston (and rods?) forged? What would be your recommendations for getting done internally? I want the car to...
