about cleaning the maf, how can i go about it? I wanted to clean my maf so i took off the air filter housing but could not locate the maf sensor which i believe is built into the throttle body. a few line help would be greatly appreciated.

If he says its because the car has done nothing for a while, its easy to prove. take the car for a slighly longer than a 5 minute drive & brake at every opportunity. if he is correct in what they are saying the shuddering would disappear as the rust would wear off the brakes. I would also check...
